Finger painting with oils
Hello, how are you doing?
I’ve been in my studio this week, working on a painting I started way back in July. I’ve nearly finished it. I’m very happy with it, now i just need to know when to stop! Always a tricky moment, one extra move and its game over, but I also know when it’s not quite enough.
I thought I’d share a few works in progress shots with you. This painting was inspired by an earlier trip to the New Forest where I stumbled on the most amazing piece of landscape- a water lily lake, it was so beautiful and i just wanted to try to capture the atmosphere.
